Catherine H. Fisher is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work spans acting, dancing, choreography, photography, and videography. Her artistic journey began in dance, where her passion for movement evolved into stage performances and later expanded into film and television, fueling her love for acting. Catherine has earned credits in notable productions such as CBS’s Young Sheldon and NBC’s Crowded, leading to her proud membership in SAG-AFTRA and the Choreographer’s Guild.
As a choreographer, Catherine’s work has been showcased on esteemed platforms such as the Loose Canons Showcase, Ignite Showcase (Summer and Winter editions), and Santa Barbara’s Selah Dance Company’s Summer Dance Festival. She also choreographed Eleanor Hammond’s indie music video “Run.” Her choreography primarily focuses on contemporary, with a foundation in ballet and lyrical that continues to inform her artistic voice. Catherine excels in teaching jazz, contemporary, and lyrical dance classes, and she has coached solos, duets, and group pieces for conventions. Her teaching journey began by assisting classes and grew into opportunities to lead workshops and programs such as Geri Brown’s Liberate Artists program at Loyola Marymount University and classes at the Lighthouse.
Catherine’s passion for storytelling extends into photography and videography through her business, Likewise Lens. By blending her expertise in movement direction and visual storytelling, she collaborates with dancers to create stunning photos and videos that celebrate artistry and expression. Her work strives to foster connections and create shared human experiences through authentic, compassionate narratives.
Over the past year, Catherine has further deepened her craft through the LUME program under the guidance of MaryAnn Chavez and Monika Felice Smith. This program emphasizes innovation, community, and collaboration, aligning with her mission to inspire and connect through her multifaceted artistry. Through all her endeavors, Catherine seeks to create spaces for creativity, expression, and community.
