How do I even describe the past two weeks? South Africa is truly one of a kind. The geography, culture, and people are all so beautiful. It’s nearly impossible to describe every moment, emotion, and thought I had in this breath taking place
I tried to “vlog” our journey, but there were certain places we went to that I didn’t want to bring my phone. It let me really enjoy the moment without worrying about pulling out my camera or anything. Here is a shortish video of what I experienced in South Africa.
One of the instances where we couldn’t take pictures was when we were working with cerebal palsy children. It was so humbling to see the joy that these kids have despite their conditions. We were also able to go to quite a few townships and work and dance with children who “impoverished”.
These two weeks were incredible. I’m so grateful and honored to have spent that time in South Africa. My hope is that everything I learned from this trip will stay with me so I can apply the mindset of servitude to the rest of my life.
